Sometimes the simplest ideas are the ones that mean the most.
BRING BACK THE GOOD started with a plain yellow wristband and one simple thought: there’s enough bad news around us every day — maybe it’s time we started making some good news of our own.
The yellow band is a small symbol of something much bigger: kindness, community and people looking out for one another.
I remember when wristbands were everywhere. You wore one because it meant something. I wanted to bring that idea back, but give it a purpose for today.
This time, we’re using the yellow bands to raise awareness and support for Cancer Fund for Children, helping children, young people and families affected by cancer.
And it’s already beginning to grow.
Local businesses have started stocking the bands, people are wearing them and sharing photographs, and hopefully that little flash of yellow will start appearing on wrists right across Northern Ireland — and beyond.
The bands are only £2.95, but this was never just about selling a wristband.
It’s about starting a conversation.
It’s about showing support.
And maybe, in a world where bad news travels incredibly quickly, proving that good can spread just as fast.
