What started with one wee duck has somehow turned into a journey around 95 EUROSPAR stores across Northern Ireland.
Reggie and I are hitting the road, visiting stores, meeting staff and customers, having a bit of craic and, most importantly, raising awareness and funds for Cancer Fund for Children.
The idea is simple: visit every store and see what happens along the way.
We’ve already started with Fintona and Carrickmore, and if those first visits are anything to go by, this could turn into some adventure.
There’ll be videos, photographs, plenty of unexpected moments and probably a few wrong turns. Knowing me, there may even be the occasional visit to A&E thrown in for good measure. 😂
But behind all the fun is a serious reason for doing it.
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to get a second chance at life, and I wanted to use some of that time to do something positive for other people.
Cancer Fund for Children supports children, young people and families facing cancer. If a wee duck travelling around Northern Ireland can help get a few more people talking about their work and raise some money along the way, then every mile will be worthwhile.
