If there’s one thing I’ve always promised anyone who reads my books or follows my journey, it’s that I will always keep it 100% real. No spin, no glossing over the tough bits—just straight, honest truth. And right now, the truth is that I need to step away and take a proper break for my mental health.
I have poured absolute blood, sweat, and tears into Bring the Good Back and the Reggie Adventures. I built these projects with the best intentions in the world, wanting to create light, spread positivity, and build something meaningful for the community. But the reality is, it has financially crippled me.
I’ve had to take a massive reality check over the last few days. The hard lesson I’m learning is that as much as I want to, I can’t single-handedly change the world.
Trying to carry it all while putting myself out there has left me feeling like a total punch bag. At 54 years old, there are only so many hits a man can take before his body and mind tell him enough is enough. My mental health has taken a serious beating, and if I don’t listen to the warning signs now, I won’t have anything left to give to myself or my family.
So, I’m pulling back. I need to re-assess my goals in life, figure out what truly matters moving forward, and take the financial hit on the chin.
To everyone who has supported me, reached out, and stood in my corner—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means more than words can say. But for now, the laptop is closing, the projects are on pause, and I am focusing entirely on resting, recovering, and getting myself back on solid ground.
I’ll be back when the batteries are fully recharged. Until then, take care of yourselves and look after each other.
